Frequently Asked Questions
How much does an architectural survey cost?
The price depends on the size of the area, the complexity of the site and the required outputs. We make a custom quote, the quote request is free, and we typically respond within 24 hours.
How long is the on-site survey and processing time?
On-site work for properties under 800-1000 m² is typically within 1 business day. Processing takes 2-10 business days. An average apartment survey (100-200 m²) is completed in a total of 3 days, a larger building (10,000+ m²) 2-3 weeks.
What software can I import into?
ArchiCAD, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and any software that handles point clouds (.e57, .rcp, .xyz or.las formats). The appropriate format will be provided by appointment.
Suitable for monument documentation?
Yes. Accuracy of a couple of mm, color point cloud, 360 panoramic photos. The reference for this is the survey of the Parliament House, Tihany Abbey, the Hungarian National Museum and several historic buildings in the city center.
What is the difference between a traditional survey and a 3D survey?
The traditional survey is based on manual measurements and site notes: selected dimensions, in 2D. 3D laser scanning captures the entire space in three dimensions with an accuracy of a couple of millimeters. The data is digital, accessible from a browser, and any size can be extracted from it afterwards.
What exactly do I get?
Depending on the content of the order: point cloud (can be imported into design software), online viewer (accessible from a browser), BIM model on request and 2D design documentation.
